Well I have contacted all the dealers in the Boise to Mountain Home region in Idaho (3 of them) will post up the information when and if I get a reply.

Wow, got a response and a phone call from one of the dealers in less than 20 minutes after sending off my email.

Dealer Name: Edmark Chevrolet
Dealer location: Nampa, Idaho
Dealer phone number: 888-632-2938
Dealer website: http://www.edmarkchevrolet.com/chevrolet/index.php

Spoke to a Sharon Newby on the phone, she mentioned that all their cars are at or below MSRP including the Corvettes they sell. Any and all factory discounts (Military and others) will be accepted as well on top of the pricing they offer.

She also took my name and number from the email and put it in a database and said she will either call or contact by email about every 3 months with any information they get.

When we find out the number of allocations we are getting at Don Hattan Chevrolet, I will let everyone know. So for those of you close to the Wichita, Ks. area can get first dibs. We have yet to take any cash deposits. That means you will have a better chance of getting one of the first to hit the lot.

SilverTurtle, I'm looking at you... With that stable you should have some clout with at least one of the dealerships in town.
I'm in on that. Chevy dealers around here are clueless. "..uuuhh Camaro? They stopped making that years ago".

When the Camaro's hit their lots, they'll suddenly get the CAMARO PASSION, and all become players.

Some of us have loved the car, and awaited the return for a long time.

For now, they are worried about selling Malibu's, Cobalt's and Aveo's. Soon they'll be CAMARO-WANNABEE'S

You have dealers on this forum. At least we all share the love of the car, and always have! The other latecomers will treat it like a cheap date.

The best place to buy a Camaro in or near California is at Folsom Chevrolet (near Sacramento CA - http://www.folsomchevy.com ) It is a family owned dealership and they are very upfront and fair on thier pricing. Thier phone number is 800-608-5541 or 916-985-5600.

didn't say at MSRP or below. just said fair. . .what's fair? because I think fair is at MSRP or below. . .heck for military GM supplier pricing.

Looking for dealers in Houston, Texas that will offer below MSRP for the NEW CAMARO and great all-around customer service after my purchase.

Got any info on a Houston, Texas or surrounding dealer that will provide the all-around customer service? So far left my name with Ron Carter Autoland in Alvin.

I have yet to find a dealer in or around Houston that will even sell at MSRP. Every one I have received a response from says MSRP+markup depending on demand.

This includes Bill Heard and Landmark (same company) dealerships that agreed to provide employees of the company I work for with GM Supplier equivalent discounts on all vehicles except the Corvette. I guess they need to add the Camaro to that list.

You just named the two biggest ripoff dealers in Houston. Why did you even try them? Westside Chevrolet or MacHaik Chevrolet would be more likely to sell at MSRP. But I'm not really expecting it right at first.

Trust me, if it wasn't for the employer discount thing, I'd never even consider BH or Landmark. I've dealt with both in the past and wouldn't go back unless they gave me the best deal on the final price (financing will not be done through a dealership.)
