I'd take the seat heater and cooler option... especially the cooler option... because Austin, much like Houston, is prone to having 85* Christmas and New Year's Days

if i was planning on driving the car year round i'd take both options. Believe it or not Montreal (yes that's in Canada) gets up into the 110s fahrenheit (at least with humidity) in the summer and down to minus 40 fah. in the winter. Outside of Russia we probably have one of the largest yearly temperature ranges in the world.
