Good question, we don't have that problem, and since I'm just on the other side of the lake from you, my guess is neither do you!

Haven't tried that yet. I'll have to remember that 8 months from now when it gets warm again.

I guess you're implying that you will be driving this car throughout the winter.

I think I'll opt-out of seat warmers as they won't be necessary if I'm only driving the car till early December. I'll be taking mine off the road before first snowfall to avoid the road salt.

Uhh.. you get branded from the penny that was on the seat.. or you burn your hand on the belt buckle..(oh gods how i hate those burns)... AND YES it actually happens. Sometimes living in AZ is killer..

Living here is one reason I will never own leather in a car.. and I buy light colored cars (my cammy will be white).

All kidding aside, it actually gets hot here too. I've burned my legs on black vinyl before. I was just joking with the shorts comment.

I'd take the seat heater and cooler option... especially the cooler option... because Austin, much like Houston, is prone to having 85* Christmas and New Year's Days

if i was planning on driving the car year round i'd take both options. Believe it or not Montreal (yes that's in Canada) gets up into the 110s fahrenheit (at least with humidity) in the summer and down to minus 40 fah. in the winter. Outside of Russia we probably have one of the largest yearly temperature ranges in the world.
