mustang boss 302 or camaro 1le?

Ever scince the mustang boss 302 came out , i considered purchasing one. I loved the way the mustang gt drove and loved that you can see out of the car however the dealership wanted way above sticker. What i hated about the boss , no nav, no leather seats , singe ford break calipers in the rear (looks like they cheeped out), cheap looking 19 inch rims and the solid rear axle was a deal breaker. I drove the camaro 2ss and hated the visibility, actually hated the way the shifter worked both the standard shifter and the hurst shifter. However i loved the way camaro ss looks. I love the brembos on the ss front and rear love the indepedant rear suspension and i like the look of the interior .So I waited for the for over a year once i heard about the 1LE. And September 7 2012 walked into a chevy dealership and ordered 2ss in asheen gray metallic w rs package nav package and duel exhaust. Im happy i did so now reading about the great reviews.

Seeing as this is a Camaro site, I'm betting the large majority will vote 1LE. It seems you favor the Camaro over the Mustang so I would say get the 1LE.

Honestly, I like my camaro and I have a 1LE on order, but the BOSS is still a better car in my opinion. I had a chance to drive my brothers '13 and that car is a blast. It revs high, screams up top, and sounds amazing, looks badass and will be faster than the 1LE. You got to ask yourself if the premium is worth it.

I have to agree that the BOSS sounds better than the Camaro.

The boss 302 is 4 sec slower than the 1LE around VIR. The premium on the boss 302 is not worth it! add to a 1le $400 cold air intake 15hp+ $1850 american racing headers with highflow cats and xpipe 35hp+ without a tune and 50hp+ with a tune. For $2250 or $2500 with a tune the 1le will beat the boss in a strait line and on a race track.

BOSS will marginally; at best, outperform the 1LE in a straight line only for thousands more. Get the 1LE and spend the difference on mods that will make it murder a BOSS in any condition. IMO

You are comparing a HERO run from GM vs a lighting lap from a mag. Dont be blind. The cars will perform close on a track but the BOSS will outperform in a straight line. I love my car and look forward to my 1LE but the BOSS will be hard to beat.

The Boss is the better engine, but NOT the better car.

Exactly. Dont believe much into what GM says. See ZL1...no one has achieved the sub 11 they claim bone stock. Lets put the cars in drivers hands in real world test and see how they do. The 1LE is VERY capable and is a awesome car.

Just because it makes more HP doesnt mean t is better. It lacks torque, even with less HP the LS3 has more torque and Mototr Trend just ran a 4.3 second 0-60. I for one prfer torque over a slightly higher reving DOC engine.
