Greentalk

It's everywhere you look, it's almost mind numbing but you can't escape it or stop thinking about it, well at least I can't. We're forced to consider the future of the very planet we live on through how we contribute to pollution in our environment. So I ask you, is this "Greentalk" too much, not enough, or is it only going to benefit us to stay conscious of this aspect of our reality as the all-powerful beings on earth?

If we survive its because we where ment to... if we don't, we where not supposed to.

Not even a super-power nation full of treehuggers can effect that outcome.

I think that there are a lot of people that would counter that idea.

It's spoken about too much in some areas, not enough in others.

The Auto industry = Way too much
Energy/Electricity sources = good enough
Rainforests/plant-life = Not enough
Waterways/Oceans = not enough.

The way I see it, we've only got one planet. And as resilient as it is, there's only so much we can do before it starts to fail. We can't let that happen...

I'm all for efficiency in everything, so long as it is cost effective. There isn't enough talk about electricity. Not nearly enough is being done for the aviation industry. In general talk is good, loudmouthed idiots who refuse to listen are bad. There is too much mis-information about everything out there. Much of it is being pushed by less than noble interests which is really unfortunate. We won't be able to run on fossil fuels forever. Alternatives need to be found. and if things aren't in place to be ramped up when the crunch hits, it will be a disaster.
