It is very "similar" to the Elite. I would never run that scotch brite pad as a filter medium. You could swap it for stainless mesh like a pot scrubber. The scotch brite material, especially when oil saturated will likely not let enough air pass through. Not enough air passing through will likely cause some very odd engine noises. I'd also be afraid that the scotch brite pad may break down and get pulled into the engine. Even fine thread sof scotch brite can be very bad.

It is a nice looking can that needs a different filter medium and bracket. It does look pretty nice for the price with a couple changes and a few dollars may be on par with the Elite as far as oil pull through.

Oh just noticed is doesn't have the sealing oring like the elite hoses or clamps. So comparing to the knockoff to the original. I'm not so sure the $70 savings is worth it.

It looks good! I'm interested in where and how you mount it? Are the hoses included?

If you need to have a proper bracket made, and buy the hose at $3 a ft you will probably be up near a good purpose built one that a vendor on here would stand behind if there are any issues.

Bracket cost me $0. I made it adjustable so I can move it in and out. . .

Just need about 3' of tubing.
