There is more than just "headers and an intake" to the new BOSS 302. The heads are CNC'd and highly refined to handle the increased revs behind the engine, as well as a number of changes.
Saying the "BOSS 302 engine is just a normal 302 with a few bolt ons" is about the same as saying a LSA/LS9 is just a LS3 with a blower strapped to it. |

UM Lex, sorry to but in here but in my neck of the woods bolt on and tuned Boss 302s usually run what you ran et but at higher traps like 118 +. Honestly that's not really a win in my book, are can you post the slips are you sure he didn't spin in second and maybe the beginning of third. His trap is higher than yours and you're blown.

Hey LEX you my dog, don't take it seriously, I am an L99 brother as well . And that's more like it 124mph traps.. The 117 was kind of disappointing but glad you cleared that up. How do you like the VVT cam . I am looking at that. Do you wish you had done the L99 to LS3 conv instead.
