Yep. I'd suggest booking solo and seeing what happens if/when you show up with a date

Do you even lift, bro?

Maybe we should see if we can get a couple/few local shops/reps to sponsor a day there! I'm sure some PR skillz and a little effort we could get a huge chunk or all of the rental covered....then just pay for attendees on our own

The Track Club USA event on Jan 26/27 is $350 for the two days (not including food or lodging) plus you need to join their club (minor fee). Note a lot of Mustangs will be there for that one. It will be more organized than the "open the gate" kind of event discussed in this thread. If you have never run an HPDE before, it would probably be a good idea to go to a more organized event first to learn how it all works, rather than a private testing day like what is being discussed in this thread. Weather can be an issue in the Jan/Feb dates. When it is cooler, engines will run great but tires will take a few laps to warm up to where they are sticking well. Regardless, leave TC ON for the added insurance. Even with warm tires I can't help but think that that your traction is not as good as a warm day on warm pavement. If it is really frigging cold or if it is snowing there is often a money back cancellation policy. Organizer should confirm with VIR, though - not sure how that works.

I am not the best organizer so you may be right.. BUT there are people on here that are GREAT at it and a Camaro/Corvette weekend would be great!

full course is 4200.00/6 = 700 per person.
patriot is 1926.00/6 = 321 per person. grand west 6120.00/6 = 1020 per person This is how I read it on, http://virnow.com/2011/10/21/winter-driving-package/ Is this right or can you add more (more than 6 is even less????)

As I read it, It would be $4850 for only 6 or $808 each. Then you add $150 for each added person. So if you can get 6 more that would be $900 + the $4850.
That would make $5750 or $497 each. If you could get 18 to sign up it would be $370 each.
