Who's dealer got ZERO allocations for March Production? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So I'm sitting here looking at a lot of posts about how cars that were ordered well after mine (10/14) are getting pulled for production already.

Now I know that some dealers get their cars earlier than others, but mine is one of the biggest in the Novi Michigan area (Feldman) and they claim to have gotten ZERO allocations for march.

How is this possible?

They said their first batch of cars is going to be like 30 for 2 of the dealerships they own and 10 for the third. I'm no. 3 in line at one of the 15 dealerships.

Does all this make sense or do you think I was told some major BS? Are MOST dealers getting ZERO allocations for March?

The February concensus was for only a two week build period, March 16-31, so many dealers did get zero cars. Mine was one of them, but they are a smaller dealership and only have 5 allocated through Q3. Then again, regardless of what any other dealers were allocated for March, it doesn't prove or disprove what your dealer has told you. I suppose you're just going to have to trust him or relocate.

All 15 dealers within an hour drive of me got 0.

Yeah my dealer got none as well. I really really hope GM does not punish the people who ordered from small town dealers by delaying their order acceptance dates in favor of big dealer orders.

I love to be able to tell you what my dealer got but he refuses to answer my question on it.

Don't know if he's full of crap but my dealer said that the allocations were based on Monte Carlos sold last year for the dealer.

Your dealer is an idiot. It's based on overall dealer volume and rustang registrations in the area.

IMO this could be a possibility.

We just have to hope not

I have small town 3 allocation 0 to date I am 1 and only 1

I will just keep waiting on next consensus.

So far my Dealer hasn't been allocated any for March...I am waiting anxiously because I am #1.

My dealer with 6 for his allocation got 1 for March production. He said that it was going to be "pulled" on March 5th. The neighboring dealer with 5 got 0 for March.

I've long forgotten the total allocation of my dealer because it was a moot point; I'm first.

0 for March...which is fine with me, it just tells me that I've got just about 100% probability that mine will be built in April and to me by May...just in time for awesome weather.
