What if I change the ratio on my rear end?
I've done searches to try to find out if my SS has 3.23, 3.43, or 3.9 gear ratio. Not likely that it's a 3.9 but that's what I think I want. Can anyone confirm what rear end was stock? Anyone change to a 3.9? If so, did you notice a significant change? I have a M6 transmission.

3.27 a6
3.45 m6 3.91 1le ...do a search on gear swaps in the v8 or transmission section they are on like every page Edit.

The L99 cars come stock with 3:27's and the M6's have 3:45's. The 1LE has 3:91's.

Can't speak about the A6, but 3.91's in an M6 really wakes the car up. Whole different animal.
