JDP quantum brake duct kit...anyone have these yet?

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on the JDP Quantum brake duct kit and was wondering if anyone has done them yet and what your opinion of them is, especially the install and routing of the ducts. Thanks!

It is a great kit and the backing plates are 2nd to none. We're writing some very detailed instructions now and we're working on a few extras. I've had them in my car for a year now and they're excellent. Please feel free to call, email or PM me anytime with questions.

Kind regards,

Thanks for you input Jordan! I have been talking to Tyler over the past coue days and my original concern was if the hoses in your kit would reach the bumper duct inlets. He had told me that they were only 2' but he just clarified that they are 4' each side, not 2! I will be ordering a complete kit from JDP early next week during the November sale! What are the extra goodies you speak of? Also, I would like to see instructions included so I hope you have them done by next week! Love your Camaro Jordan! I saw you run at the Camarocross at the Fest!

I dont want to hijack this thread, but dont want to start a new one either.I too have talked with Tyler about the kit,and it is something i certainly want.As well Tyler, i bled my lines today, and there was air in them,so i assume my brake fade will be gone.I do have a question though. Why do my rotors look like this? This is from my track day 2 weeks ago at Fontana, and i was babying my car since i was having braking issues,so the brakes weren't being abused.

Yeah those rotors are "hot spotted" just from getting hot as long as they arnt warped you should be fine, keep an eye on them tho if you keep cooking them as rotors can develop small cracks and at that point you would want to replace.

Just ordered the JDP kit along with the inlet ducts from Racer Parts Wholesale. I asked JDP to ship the brake duct in one piece, hope they come through. Plus, please send me your detailed instructions too, JDP. Thanks.

I've got the air intake scoop too, so will need to get around that some how. Will post pics of the install in the new year.
