Hey, treating yourself to a turbo at 51 is a great reward !!

Robert has been on cloud 9 with Brandi. The transformation generates permagrin...
I know we had a blast taking it for a spin.

Now it's your turn to go out and enjoy yours !!!

I've been lovin' this car from day one .
This morning I developed a misfire , one of the ign wires was on the pipe , all set now . Tinkering is half the fun .
When I get the correct parts for the air intake I'm having it tuned by Jannetty .
It's suprising how well I'm running with the tune he provided considering the limited information he recieved , no data logs and a home built setup no one is familiar with . The guy is never too busy to pick up the phone , adjust the tune or just plain offer his input and advice .
That's the reason I like dealing with him and also the reason he is successful .
I run my operation the same way , I'm very rarely inaccessible .

The only way to run anything in my opinion...

I wish I had the ability to do a ground up build, and I probably do old school style. This is what impresses me so much about this build, throw out the conventional, the norm, and do your own thing...

I'm really looking forward to seeing the sort of final results, as we all know it's never finished... just at some state of waiting for the next mod....

I really hope to meet you in person one day, and to be able to look deep into this car... What an amazing build...

You never know , it really is a small world .
Today I ran some errands with the Camaro and had another ign wire pop off . Fortunately after this morning's incident I threw the oe wires in the trunk for just in case . What are a good set of wires for tight clearance ?
The wires I'm losing are 10mm OML platinum U.S.A. made and came from ABC auto parts . The boots are super thick but the angle is unfortunately not optimum for my header setup . I need a straight boot wire .
Last week I took a video of the engine running/reving but can't get it to post up , I've done it before on utube then posted it to C5 .
Maybe tomorrow I'll get one of my children to figure it out . I guess last time I was just lucky .
Anyway , tonight we're off to a big fundraiser for my children's school . Last year I had too much of a good time , as did a couple of my influential friends . This pissed off the wives but we had a blast laughing and joking all night . I tell her all the time " at least I'm still the same guy you married " she says " yes , never grown up , still in college "
Have a good weekend guys !

I've got to appreciate and enjoy turbos more as I got older than when I was younger. In your case building your own kit, gives you the ultimate gratification.

Butt-o-meter feels g forces , seat wants to suck me in . The turbo is way cool and two is way cooler .
This week I got the appropriate air filter / intake pipe installed and painted the intercooler flat black . I've driven several hundred trouble free miles and am now pretty confident all can stay as is . Need to do a 4 wheel alignment and the tune . Unfortunately this week my secretary will be in Disney Orlando so with a temp in her place going to Jannetty for a day isn't in the cards .
I'm going to post a video tomorrow . My previous attempts at this with a new camera failed however my 12 year old has offered assistance .
