Are the seats on the pre-production cars pure cloth or is it leather with cloth inserts? I want pure black leather all the way around!

So dragon was right. Those were reverse lights from the older spy shots. This pretty much confirms it.

Looks great. Seems like the interior is getting slammed on the web but I thinks its pretty good. It is pre-production and I doubt that a final one will have that wall of drab gray.

OMG!!! I cant believe they got these shots! This may need its own thread.

I love the interior, looks like...

1. They kept console gauges
2. Similar radio/ac knobs
3. Radio screen
4. Love the square gauges up top
5. ON STAR
6. Steering wheel has an airbag while still resembles the concept.
7. You can see the reverse mohawk on the roof inside.

I can go on and on but I love it! and the door panels look sweet! :party0038:

If that's what it looks like from the outside with no camo, I can live with whatever imperfections the interior might have. I guess Wellburn, Scott Settlemire and company weren't joking when they said 'Very close to the concept!'.

Now does anybody here think that these pictures are a prelude to an earlier than expected unveiling and release? We've been getting bombarded with unofficial spyshots and Bob Lutz approved teasers and pics. Between the spyshots and the fastlane official releases, once the 2009 Detroit autoshow rolls around, there won't be much to get hyped up about. Time to bring the car out ASAP.

Some will think that, I don't (and I suspect several other members will agree)

We have just seen that everything that has been told to us about the new Camaro is true. So I belive Bob, Scott, and all the others when I hear that production is starting in October and the Camaro will be released in 1st quarter of next year.

is it me or does that steering wheel looks like it is covered up? Look at the concept pic of the steering wheel then look at the prototype, all of the grips indentions are still there but kinda peeking through the loose leather wrap. I think, and this is just me, that the steering wheel is closer to the concept than that pic shows, also it look like you can see what looks to be some type of stereo controls , and in one shot i see a blue wire hanging through the the square like opening on the left hand side. i also see that the fit and finsh is so rough and loose that we are really in for a suprise when a more finished pic comes out. I truely belive there will be more chrome or metel accents inside.

Aww man, I just replied to this in a different thread that has the same pics!
I think we need some thread merging from the spyshot thread about the G8 Wagon spyshot.
