It seems like a lot of people are doing this lately. I think it makes the car look out standing. But i'm still on the edge of doing it too mine. Which ones 2 use and how low. Should I go with coilovers or drop springs. From every thing i'v read if I do it will probably be 1" drop w/Hotchkis.

Afraid I can't help you there, as I am not ready to void the manufacturer's warranty on mine (yet). But that is something that's on my long term list, so keep us posted as to how it turns out. I hope to meet you soon. |

Hello Wolfco. Trifecta had a special offer for a tune that is a nice upgrade that can be changed back to the original factory tune. I want to get things in line before I start the process (cable). I plan on getting out to some of the local meets but like most plans time is limited. Hopefully we'll see you out there.

I went with the 1.25" lowering/racing springs after talking to a lot of people on here. Partly because I don't race that often and partly because it was about a grand cheaper than the coilovers!! I will probably kick myself next year because I love the setup Mike has with the coilovers...

Im not 100% sure but I though there was no counter on the v6? So technically they should be able to tune then go back to stock without the dealership knowing.

My son is a GM tech and says GM will know if you get a tune on all GM vehicles.

What a beautiful evening we are having! Tonight I went to Tops and parked far out in the lot. As I was leaving a really awesome looking Inferno Orange RS pulled in and he pulled right next to mine, got out and we started talking, which was really nice! I usually just get "stink eye" looks from the Mustang owners around here - most of which are women (I shouldn't say anything as my hubby has a 65 and gets tons of fist pumps from them). It will be nice when the local cruises start up - hoping I can get in on some of them! Also saw a really nice 68 - I passed him last weekend and flashed the high beams - had to show some respect there!

Weather looks great for the next week. I have a ball game to go to in Cleveland on Sat afternoon. Looks like perfect weather for a long top down ride.

Mike , did you have any problems with the long bolts that came with the vararam? The passenger side went like half way then stop for me. I gotta find another solution to support the radiator, this is the only bad thing about it lol
