What's most important about the Camaro to you? v2.0
Let's try this again.
No "everything" choice, that made it unfun. We're all here because we love the car. I think that's a given. But what's your favorite part? What's the 10 out of 10 among lots of 9.9s? And discuss, of course. |

Dragoneye,
Is there supposed to be a poll?

mine is the resemblance to the first gen Camaro. Have always loved them, own a '67 RS, and am excited as he#$ that a new version with modern conveniences is being built

Always wanted a 1st gen and could never afford it, so this new one will suit me just fine for now.

Takes a minute to make the poll. (And I reworked it a bit to be more encompassing.)
I voted for The overall performance. You can't find a combination of handling/acceleration/braking like this (in this pricepoint) anywhere. |

So far it's unanimous for my choice, the exterior design! The engine/power was a VERY close second, but first and foremost I have to like the overall exterior appearance. Like I said in the previous poll, otherwise I'd be looking for a Challenger.

I looked at this for a moment, but not too long.
The Engine/Power: I could get a G8 and be pretty darn close. The Suspension/Handling: There's a myriad of cars available that the Camaro will compare to, or be ousted by altogether in this category. The IRS/RWD: A factor that makes the Camaro special compared to others in it's segment, but not the dealmaker. The Performance: As great as the Camaro will be it is not alone in the performance sector. The Value (in terms of price for what you get): This was almost my decision, and as it stands is a close second. The Exterior Design (including colors and lights): It's beautiful, a close third. The Interior Design (Including Ambient Lighting/Stereo/etc): Again, a thing of beauty but not what wins me over in this poll. The Heritage: Without a doubt. We are all here...hell the Camaro is REBORN because of our lust for the return of the nameplate. The reasons I want this car include everything above, and if I weren't a Camaro enthusiast I would like to think I would still not be able to deny the beauty of the 5th gen....but it's because I want to own another Camaro because of what it means to me (and so many others here) that I am so excited. |

Sorry Dragon…… ……but I’m going to have to stick with everything… It’s the whole package that makes a “Legend”… If it was just one or two things then I would be a mustang owner…

^ Definitely the chicks. As I stated in the previous version of this thread, it's the heritage and the history that I have with the Camaro.
