MY RS PACKAGE DISAPPEARED - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I just got off the phone with my dealer. I had changed my order on 4/3 and I had sent him an E-mail yesterday to check up on my order. The RS package was missing! He is going to put it back on and will recheck it in a few days to make sure it stays on. He will sent me a new print out from OrderWORKBENCH as soon as he can after he has confirmed that it is all ok.

A BIG thanks to this site and everyone who has posted that this can happen.

Also a warning to anyone who has had made a change and not rechecked it.

Did you make changes from when you first ordered? If so, what changes did you request?

It's been posted by several users that when they have made changes to their order, stuff suddenly dissappears...CamaroScotty advised all to re-check your orders if you make any changes. Hope it works out for you.

This is why I did recheck it. I just wanted to put it back out there that you really need to do it if you have made any kind of change.

KJS, I don't think it matters what change you make after the original order is entered. I deleted the car cover, added the engine cover and weeks later realized the polished aluminum wheels had disappeared. So, regardless of the change, everyone needs to recheck the order after the change!

I dbl checked my order today after making a few changes last week and was happy to find out that the Inventory guy at the dealer had already done a dbl check before I got there. Everything was OK but better safe than sorry.

AGAIN, THIS IS A PRIME EXAMPLE HOW A CAR DREAM CAN POP.

IF YOU MAKE A CHANGE, DO IT IN PERSON, AND GET A COPY OF THE ORDER WORKBENCH ORDER AFTER THE CHANGE. HAVE ONE PRIOR TO AS WELL - AND COMPARE!

I DO IT, FOR MY OUT OF STATE CUSTOMERS, AND I ALSO REVIEW EACH ORDER BEFORE WE LET IT GO THROUGH, JUST TO BE SURE! BE SAFE, NOT SORRY!
