What mods for $600

I have $600 to spend on mods for my L99 and am thinking of deleting the cats and a JDP tune from ted. Is there anything would provide better performance difference for that amount?

Yes depends what u want. Mbs headers only run around 300 and have been dyno proven by a few guys on here. U could add those and a tune from Ted and that would be a bigger gain! If I were u I would ask Ted to delete your AFM with the tune! And I see ur from Arkansas as well. Welcome! Lol

XS power headers, very good quality for about 350$, add a cold air or get a tune. I did headers and intake first, made my own intake though and waiting to get a tune till my cam goes in soon. You dont NEED a tune for headers and can always have the CEL turned off if it bothers you. The headers and intake made a BIG difference.

When I brought my mbs headers up to the performance shop where they carry kooks they were dumb founded on how i spent 300 and good a good set of headers that dynoed they exact same as the kooks. That made me happy!!

Were did you get the MBS headers from that were so cheap. I don't have to have name brands as long as the performance is there

AMEN...I have been contemplating on ARH LTs and mids, but all this reading is having me thinking about going with a cheaper header.

I couldn't see paying as much for a set of headers that cost more than my cam and install did lol. And the MBS headers are 304i stainless steel or something like that I know there stainless steel. And the performance shop said they were great! And couldn't believe the price!

oh yes. I wish. I live in an apartment and my car is parked outside in the street. It wont be very easy to work on a car out there. I did my intake manifold out there though
