Camaro LT 1 vs H2 accident
First time posting I need to vent. I was holding out to get an SS next year, but my son turned 15 and started talking about what car he wanted (95 Eclipse) I said noway. My dealer called me to come look at his dealer car when it came in. Ended up buying it for MSRP. Hurricane Chevrolet is the only dealer in my area selling them for MSRP (great dealer). I have had the car for two weeks and my son who is on this site before and after school has been telling me to post it on here just havn't had time to post till now. Here is the Bull@$it part of my story. My wife takes my son to a buddies house who lives in a subdivision about 5 miles from us. As she is leaving the subdivision approaching the intersection of the main road some a$$hole in a h2 sut makes a sharp lefthand turn into the subdivision and hits her. My wife said she never seen his face that he was looking down the whole time until the last second he looked up hit the brake. She jumped out of the car to see how much damage was done and called me. He said honey are you ok and of course my wife had a few choice words for him and he told her she needed to relax that it is just a car. By the time I got there the cop was there but he could not do an accident report because it is private property so i'm fighting with his insurance now. My car has not been moved, he moved his h2 that is it sitting in the background. He also told my wife that his insurance would fix his and my insurance would fix mine. Come to find out he owns a Garage. Thanks for listening and hope you all have better luck than I have.

Sue for Diminished value. I think once it's fixed still you need another $1000 or more compensation above the repair.

Another moron. What the he** was he doing texting or talking on the phone? Real smart , driving around in an H2 not paying attention. Lucky he didn't run over a little kid.
