6"

1/8 - 1/4"

1/2"

A quick guess. If it ever stops raining I'll actually go outside and measure mine for you.

stripes

# 1 Is easy,3 inches apart 1.5 inches each way off of centerline.now #2 is 3/16 inch, now if you lay them out that will give you your third measurement.Good luck putting them on.They go on wet not dry.one teaspoon of ivory soap to a gallon of water.they may look easy but they are not.

I just picked my car up the other day and I am getting mine painted as well.It would be very cool if i could get those measurements as well.I would also like to know how wide the stripes are at the top of the hood (windshield side)

So a question for the OP and others...

Now obviously this is personal preference, but since you are spending the money for painted rally stripes, was doing something other than the OEM style even considered?

Why would you want stripes painted on when you only plan to match the factory OEM stripes measurements?

At the last show I entered with some other Camaro's there, I overheard a lot of spectators say that the OEM Vinyl stripes don't quite look right when sitting right next to a car with the larger/longer Rally stripes that were on my car. There were three other OEM striped Camaro's at the MD All Chevy Show this past weekend parked near my OEM and it was the #1 comment I heard... (I happen to agree with them.. but this is just what I was hearing from the crowd, and not while I was standing right next to my car )

"The stripes on the orange car look better than the vinyl because they
1. ... go over the front fascia
2. ... are better proportioned with the car
3. ... follow the bodylines better
4. ... look more like the '69 Rally stripes

Just curious... Do you think these look better than the stock rally stripes? They are 16.5 inches wide at the top of the hood in case you wanted to know.

Yes I want mine to go down to the front fascia. i just wanted the measurments to for my paint guy as a point of reference.I am assuming they painted them wider because they are longer ?

Sav1, here are the mesurements you ask for:

1. 6 5/8"
2. 2 1/4"
3. 1/4"

Those are the measurements off of my factory Rally Stripes. I hope that helps you out.
