Funny...When I was deciding on a new car (drove a 2002 V6 Mustang) I test drove the Mustang GT, the Challenger, and the V6/V8 Camaro...Hmmmm??? No contest...Loved the Camaro SS2 and took her home!

About the jump in Mustang sales, it's just a sales bump in December to reduce Mustang inventory.
You see this kind of December sales trend in any decent model with large inventory. ![]() Huge sales in December are often followed by major drops in volume in January. Expect Mustang sales to drop below normal levels in January. |

The way that article is written makes it seem that they competed all year, and they have an even number of coupes, performance editions, & verts. Based on those numbers Chevy crushed Ford, and annhilated Dodge. GM knows it, Ford knows it, Dodge knows it, and the writer from Autoblog.com knows it. The worst part is when the writer claims "and with all of the updates to the 2011 Mustang, we suspect that next year's race won't be nearly as entertaining." What a POS hatchet job.... how much did Ford pay him to write such garbage?

So if the Camaro raced a Mustang and spotted the Mustang a 3 plus second lead would autoblog crow about how the Mustang won the race despite the fact that the Camaro was clearly the faster car?
LOL.

much better than this dead topic, and numbers don't lie... apples to apples the '10 Camaro revival has eclipsed the competition! (Keep it up )CAMARO = 7,700/mo. Mustang = 5,550/mo. Challenger = I've seen some people on the board with 'em. Keyword here being... American Competition! :flag2:

It's sad that the stangs had to use rebates in order to move their inventory. Based on the average numbers per month, the Camaro would have won easily. Anyway, we all know who won, that's what counts.

Enjoy it while it lasts! Being the new kid on the block the Camaro should sell better. The 3.7 V6 and 5.0 V8 Mustangs next year will most likely put it back on top.

I would agree If they would fix the back end that they screwed up. It was perfect on the 09. A lot of people in my circle was really pissed by that design change. Me so much that I bought a camaro this time around.
