What Mods Should I Do As An Upgrade First?

Can't say how your funds will be but,....let a complete exhaust system be your first upgrade. Then save up for a long time for ...headers/supercharger, and just shut down the competition. That's my plan at least. If not, do headers/exhaust first with high flow cats, and you'd be good for a minute.

I just called this local performance Shop that is in town here in Ft. Myers and I swear I can't stand that guy, He's the owner of the place and he has such a chip on his shoulder and he has been like that for as long as i've been talking to him, He's really short with you and if your not spending a lot of money in his shop then he really doesnt want much to do with you.

I just called him to ask if he would install a set of headers for me and how much they charge per hour, and he told me that if I'm not buying from him then he's not going to install them,...

I guess thats understandable if you dont need the money for doing any type of installs for anyone.

Then he wanted to sell me a set of SLP Headers, I asked him if he could get ARH and he said that he could get anything performance that I wanted but I would really like SLP the Best and to go online and listen to a set of SLP Headers.

I tried to explain to him that the problem with that is,... SLP Headers May be Awesome Sounding Headers but people use their Cell Phones to take Videos with and post these Videos on YouTube calling them "Awesome Videos Listen To This" etc, etc, etc,... and you really can't tell how good they really sound and then he said, Listen, Go Buy your Car bring it in I'll call the own to bring his car in for you to listen to alright, okay and pretty much hung the phone up on me in the process.

I need to try and hook up with some of the Local guys here and try to find out where they had their Headers installed at.

I tried asking in other threads but didnt have any success at asking.
I've never had much luck getting Headers installed even with the Headers that I have installed on my truck and I'm not sure that I would want them to install a set of LT Headers on a vehicle that costs Twice as much as my truck did at the time either if you know what I mean...

I did muffler delete with x-pipe install. The next things I'm doing are aesthetics (stripes, decal removal/addition, maybe gauges) until I have enough money saved to start with a good base in LT Headers.

I have my own 24 Inch Vinyl Cutter so I'm going to be doing my own Stipes. I havent decided on what though, it might be flames, it might be a version of the hockey stripe, I'm not sure yet. If i do stripes on the hood i'm doing the roof and bumpers.

I thought about doing the hood in kind of a Firebird type of Bird sort of like the Trans-Am was but my own Style of one for the Camaro.

I already own Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Coral Paint, about 6000 Fonts and Unknown amount of Flames and Stripes and other Vehicle Clipart that can be resized and shaped in to pretty much anything, I just lack the Creative Mind to let it all Flow. So once i do finally get my car i can get some real life measurements, plot them in and go to work and see what I come up with and maybe even make some money if i'm lucky.

The first thing (I beleive) is let the car breath. That means CAI and exhaust. Good thing about the exhaust you can do in stages. Once your finished then you can go get it tuned. IMHO

Yeah I'd like to get a CAI, X-Pipe and Borla S-type Mufflers.

I would get the Catback but man,... That Costs WAY to much money and my car isnt going to be any type of show car or anything, I'm going for more of a Go Effect, So I figure i can save a bit if I can just buy the Borla S-Type Mufflers, Do they sell that in a Axleback Kit? Then going with a Magnaflow 2.50" Tru-X X-Pipe and I still havent Figured out which CAI yet.

Hi, I'm in cape coral too. The dealer can tell you if you have a vin 1st. Then you can track on camarotracking.com. mine was produced 12/22, and shipped 12/23 by rail to Tampa. It just came into the dealership 1/9, and they are still putting on final mods, and I will have Friday. Another guy a week ahead of me took 20 days from Canada to his dealership, mine took 18 days. at least we're getting them in 2 months time or so

If I remember correctly, the week of your TPW you should get an update everyday from camarotracking instead of weekly.

MuscleDave,... Hey Man, How's it going? Your the 1st Person I've met so far that is actually from Cape Coral where I'm from. How Deep in to the Cape do you live? I live off of Del Prado near Hancock.

Have you done any mods to your 2SS so far? Did you do them yourself or where did you take your car to have them done at?

Hey TripleB,...

I thought I read somewhere that Once i hit 3800 I'll receive an email with my Vin # from CamaroTracking.com and then I thought I had to go somewhere else to get my Updates or something,...

And then I slightly remember reading something about having to P.M. a Mod here once your Car has been shipped to your Dealership to find out which Train it's on and then which Truck Carrier it's on.

I was confused at that point and that was WEEKS ago and I told myself I would figure it out when the time comes but now that the time has come and my build week is here I can't find that Info again hehe.

Well I guess tomorrow is Wednesday so if i'm going to get an update, That'll be the day I get the update right?

I'm just wondering what source my dealership used to find out that my car was being built yesterday though,...

Maybe I'll give them a call tomorrow and see if i can't find that out from them.

So far it looks like Cold Air Intake is in the lead for being my 1st Upgrade that I should do to my 2SS When I get it.

That's the Hardest one to decide to I dont know which maker I should buy either.

If you do any mods, I'd stick with approved ones while you get some money together.
