That is....unusual. And it's an unrealistic expectation for performance pads like those found on the Camaro.

How are you guys determining you need to pads?

Unless they SCREECH!!! on every application of the brakes...you should still be okay.

If you haven't already, make sure to visually inspect the pads to see if they're skinnier than the "noisemakers" (the thin metal clips that touch the rotors when the pads need replacing, for anyone that didn't know).
