I think maybe you need to go back to the s197forum and keep drinking the MT-82 koolaid. I'm less and less liking you belittling me because of the fact that your car is supposedly perfect.
He said most of the reports were from overly sensitive owners, and that has been proven to be the case. Not he did not say all. It's called reading comprehension. Learn it. You should be able to since you have mastered the tricky craft of driving a manual transmission.

It is funny how this thread has evolved since the bugle was blown for the strictly camaro fanboys to come rushing in.

cbass I am sure you wouldn't like to admit it in this thread, but it appears you think all transmissions have problems. Could small amounts of people been having problems with transmission all along, but now there is this fascinating new place call the internet? Could it be that the only reason we think it is such a large issues is because the only people talking about it are the ones who have had problems? If every satisfied customer spoke up could it possibly drown out the nay sayers? Hmmmmm interesting....

The TR6060 is also used on the GT500 and Challenger and on their forums you can see issues with high rpm shifting as well. No surprise there are it's fundamentally the same transmission.

Thing is on the V6 camaros they use a different transmission made in japan, but they also report problems with the transmissions and shifting.

The Mustang GT uses a Getrag MT82 made in China and again there are reports of transmission problems with grinding gears and popping out of gear.

So we has a Tremec TR6060 Made in Mexico with problems on the camaro ss, GT500, and Challenger.

We have an Aisin Made in Japan with problems on the camaro v6.

We have a Getrag MT82 Made in China with problems on the mustang GT and maybe even on the boss 302 and boss 302 ls?

What gives? What has changed in transmission construction or technology? 3 different companies. 3 different transmissions. 3 different places of assembly and they all seem to have some problem with grinding gears and popping out of gear.
