Ever since I purchased my 'vert 11 months ago, I had been filling up with Regular, 87 Oct. I always experienced a bit of "sluggishness" when shifting from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th gears and posted on the forum about whether this was "normal". Some said "yes", some stated "no". http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=163658

I can, however, state without a doubt, that 93 Octane has DEFINITELY improved performance and alleviated the "sluggishness" shifting gears. Based on this experience, I'll continue to fill up with 93 Octane.

For those who may be interested, I keep track of my mpg's via this site.

Our engine is designed for 87. I have a hard time believing 93 will affect performance, considering that 93 is the same fuel, just with less knocking. I think it may just be in your head.
