Rubber Boot For Hurst Short Shifter

Looking for suggestions and input. Just installed a Hurst short throw shifter and went with a different Hurst stick (more Retro mix) I am looking to add the rubber boot over the stick to complete the look. Most aftermarket shift boots (including Hurst) are more square and shorter than the opening on the manual leather cover in the Camaro. Has anyone made this happen with the rubber boot? would like to hear and see pic's if you did.

Thanks

I have the Hurst flat comp shifter and it is way shorter than that. I was thinking about cutting mine down- but yours makes mine look short already

Looks like during the install you didn't raise the stock leather boot up. It's supposed to be moved up to right underneath the Hurst lettering on the shifter. I bet that would make it look a lot better

I don't think thats the problem. I don't have that much room under the HURST lettering to where it bolts to base on mine.
