help! having trouble

wondering if anyone can help me.. here's whats going on, i go to leave right now and i get in and turn the key, and it wont move. i hold the break in, still nothing. my mom drove the car last night and when she parked, the steering wheel is crooked, she thinks maybe that has something to do with it as it locked.. its not like it wont turn over, i cant even get the key to move.. i'm not sure what the problem is or how to fix it.. if anyone can help me i realllly appreciate it

Try turning the steering wheel a you turn the key. The column theft lock mechanism may have enough tension on it to stop the key from turning easilly. Try left, if no go, try right. The key should turn eventually once you relive the pressure.
