Trouble nows where I am 24/7

At the gym tonight, the f-ing gym of all places, and a fight breaks out on the basketball court between a brother , 2 asian dudes and 2 white guys trying to keep the peace, well it spills out into the workout area and I group up with all the other rubber neckers to see whats up, well one of the old white guys was following the black guy out saying to stop him. Of course the gym staff arent going to do shit, so him and one of the other white guys proceed outside, the white guy wasnt trying to do anything just get the black guy out of there, so he leaves and comes back about 30 seconds later and hes getting in everyones face and proceeds back to the basketball court cept now he has his hand in his pocket. As soon as he hits the court his hand comes out and hes got a knife, I'm about 10 steps behind him at this point, he proceeds to take out the knife, unfold it and threaten everyone in the court, he does that about 10 seconds with everyone backing off and telling him to chill out. So he starts heading towards one guy who takes off, then the black guy folds up the knife and puts it in his pocket and apparently spots another guy who was involved in the fight and he heads towards him taking the knife out, still folded and holding his arms out challenging the guy. So at this point Im still staying behind where he cant see me and I go up and wrap both my arms around his arms and lock my hands behind his back effectively immobilizing him and I let his face meet the basketball court. He's pretty much stunned at this point and Im yelling at people to grab the knife and he is disarmed, I stay on top of him until PD arrives and hooked him up. They take him outside and get my statement and a few other guys statements and I finish my workout. I pretty much cant go anywhere without trouble finding me. Pretty funny how he went from being a bad ass to a mommas boy once the tables where turned and I had him on the ground, he kept pleading with me to let him up and it was cool and to just let him up so he could leave.

Did the cops arrest him? Or just remove him?

They took him outside in cuffs and got my statement but when I was leaving he was out of the black and white with no cuffs so i am assuming they let him go, no one wanted to step up and claim the victim of an ADW so I guess they let him go.
