Tvs2300 6rib max boost?
On the tvs2300 with a od rear cog and a blower cam
What is the max boost before belt slip? Is 12lbs possible? If not who has the best price on an 8rib kit? Cars built motor is done. That's why I am Curious. |

You're gonna need the 8 or 10 rib kit. IW is the better priced option between them and LPE. Try JRE, they've done a couple already.

I did 12 PSI on a 6 rib on a 3.2 or a 3.4 pulley (forgot for sure which pulley) and the OD back cog, but you have to have a different tensioner, the exact length belt and everything exactly right. You have to stay on the adjustment every minute or it will start to slip.

That's crazy it's so hard to make 12lbs. The 8 and 10 rib kits are so expensive it doesn't seem worth it.
