Question So who has the....

...biggest, baddest V6 here at Camaro5?

I'm curious who here has the largest HP gain on the V6 Camaro?

I'm new here but from what little I've read it seems you can get these V6's to over 400hp with a supercharger and some other mods.

I think it would be funny to have peeps pull up to a V6 Camaro and be smoked off the line...

Post pics and specs if you got them.
Thx

If by biggest and baddest car, you mean fastest, then that's member HDRS. He has the fastest v6 camaro to date with the time slips to prove it.

mmhmm, but that's on spray and thus not street legal. Now if we're only talking going to the 1/4 then that's fine. However if you want everyday perma grin then you have to go with a super charger, turbo, or cams which are still under final development.

Supercharged V6's are ranging from 350-420 rwhp, twin turbo (Cant_C_Me)'s car is over 400, and it looks like cams are right around 300 rwhp (assuming the mustang dyno is reading a little low, which I think we all know it is).

OP go to the V6 FI section: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=98

All depends on what you are looking for.

At the top of the sections are threads that are stickies. There is one for dyno pulls.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=153186

and another for 1/4 mile times for FI.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=115679

Go to the drag section to see info on 1/4 mile passes.

Not necessarily true... While N2O is not legal in the majority of states, there are still some states it is legal in... so you really can't say it's not street legal...

BTW, I don't think any of the FI solutions are CARB certified, so that would technically make them illegal in California... so does that mean your not street legal? In fact anyone with LT headers or even a tune is violating Federal emissions laws... and things like SCT tuners have "For Off Road Use Only" stickers...

Firstly who REALLY runs N20 on the street? That's dumb. Unless you're in fast n' the furious and maybe you think it's cool?

Secondly N20 isn't sustainable for a long time and by a long time I'm more hinting at being on the street. Obviously N20 is GREAT for the track when you're only going 1/4 for the race.

Thirdly I'm NOT in Cali so actually I'm fine. I realize OP is in Cali though.

I think someone likes being nit picky

That would be hard to do IMHO I like them all because we are taking the v6 to a different level and everyone regardless of their kit is making a bold statement that as v6ers if you think we are slow think again.

Gretchen holds both the records for fastest and highest power on a Sc / Turbo FI cars consistantly. 1/4 mile 12.4 and the highest dyno pull of 500RWHP!

Pretty sure we will be seeing at least mid 12s once some more SC cars get a go at the strip and have better supporting mods. IPF has 12.8 on stock tires as well all know. Should be able to get mid 12s easy.

As for Gretchen ...or...Gretchen2? (LFX) I think we are going to be seeing big numbers and very low 12 or 11s finally....which is what we were all expecting with the original gretchen but couldn't get it done because of tuning and what not.

New Mustang V6s with manuals will run low to mid 13s all day long with headers, Cold air and a tune even with a 2.73 rear. Change to the optional lower rear gears and they will knock off stock V8s.
