DIY - AFM Indicator Light? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I would like to install an indicator light to let me know if I'm in V8 or V4 mode. Can anyone help me figure out what signal I need to tap into for this?

This doesn't apply to me but if I had the A6 I'd be interested, best of luck

Put some high flow cats on there and you can hear when you go into 4 since the car gets real quiet. Not sure what other way to tell since even the DIC doesnt have an indicator for it.

I'm very interested in why you would want to know...Its basically each time there is minimal stress on the engine AFM kicks in. It will be like a disco ball when you drive around town
I have mine tuned out as per the reason above. Any aftermarket exhaust and you'll know about it...
