V6 Manual Tranny fill/drain plug size??

Anyone know what size socket I need for both the drain and fill plug for V6 manual transmission?

If its anything like the V8 it should be a 3/8 inch ratchet. Just stick the ratchet in the square hole and you are good to go.

Cheers

Maybe you are talking about the differential fluid change or V8 and V6 have a totally different plugs. Our V6 differential plugs have a square hole for drain and fill but our transmission have a regular big bolts. I just need to figure out what size they are so I can get the right sockets. Thanks.

The manual tranny oil never needs to be changed!

Well, maybe some time in 2025.

The "lifetime" gear oil they put in the tranny sucks! Royal Purple has smoothed out the shifts and lowered my second gear grind.
