auxillary guage pack comes on 1LT ?
i ordered a 2011 1lt/rs. was wondering if anyone could tell me if it comes with the auxillary guage pack..? i wanted to order but didnt want to get stuck with 2.

Nope........you can buy the gauges separately from Dealer, gmpartsdirect, or other third party resellers.

Console Guages
Are all the wires present on a 1LT so if you purchase the GM 4-guage counsole package from GM it just plugs in?

I actually prefer not having them - I suddenly realized one day that most cars don't have that info in the instrument panel anymore, and that I would rather use that space to hold my sunglasses/cell phone. To each their own though.

I think I'm with Johnny on this one. The gauges look really cool, but some of the info is kind of redundant, and I think the extra storage space on such a small car may be better to have than a few distracting gauges.
They do look cool though... |

I had them dealer installed in my 1ss before delivery, That was the one thing I couldnt live without when I chose the 1ss. I have had a ton of 1st gens and to me the most retro thing about the gen5 is the console gauges. I wish they had an accessory blue tooth set up so I didnt have to put an aftermarket one in. Now that I did im sure they will release one.

I like the way they look but I too would rather have the space for my cell phone and sunglasses.

What I'd like is a replacement tray for that area that doesn't have that stupid offset "ridge" in it. I'd like one big flat space.
