Ground Effects = Ghetto??
I love the way ground effects look on some of these camaro's but I haven't seen them in person. Do they take away from the look of the car? I want mine to look different??? Any opinions?

Ground effects look great! In addition to the factory option, there are several aftermarket options if you want to be different...

After looking at the GM ground effects on a few different vehicles, I have found that the fit and finish leaves something to be desired. There are often gaps at compound curve areas (front spoiler, rear fenders) which give the perception of "ghetto" installs. Could be just a matter of how much time the tech takes to ensure a proper fit, but for me, I no likey...

I have seen the ground effects and while it would look great on a weekend toy or show car, as a DD it is just didn't make sense for me. Considering in my old 4th Gen how much I accidently went over the little parking lot cement thingies (very technical term I know).

As for the overall look I absolutely love it, probably the best looking factory installed package I've seen.

Ground effects look great when they are painted, I would definitely have them if they came painted.

I like how the front and sides look, not much the rear piece. If it's going to be a Sunday car I would get them, but my Camaro will be a daily driver and the roads in Puerto Rico are not the best. Plus I want to get the Eibach Pro Plus kit and both things are not a good combo here (because of the roads).
