Why is there so much hate for the Corvette on this site? You guys act like the Vette is a Mustang. You guys have to show a little more respect for the Camaro's big brother,afterall he donated his heart to make the Camaro competitive in the muscle car arena.

Look at who drives the Camaro... and who drive's the Corvette. Camaro is youth, and Corvette is more old man or "midlife crisis" - not that I would never drive one at a younger age. I would just want the BEST available, and that would require a nice chunk of change... whereas I could buy the BEST available Camaro for under 40k

Women of all ages drive Mustangs... and silver-haired old men drive the really nice Mustangs.

I respect the Vette, and many other fine vehicles. It's what comes out of the owner's mouths and what they do to their cars that might make me not care much for what they drive.

I'm not even sure where you are getting this. I've seen nothing but respect and support when threads discuss the Corvette or someone posts they are trading up to a Corvette.

In the 2 years I've been here I can't recall any Corvette hate here in Camaro5.

For many, the answer is simple: Inferiority Complex. They're angry they cannot get a Corvette and thus feel the need to degrade the 'vette.
