Are you getting used to your horsepower?

Is it just me or are you getting used to all that horse power. At first I was like oh wow but after only a few months i'm quite used to it. Anyone else feel the same?

unfortunately yes... until you have to drive something else like a truck, which then feels like a turtle.

I've actually been the exact opposite. Granted I don't get to drive my car as much as I'd like, sometimes I go a week without driving it or only the weekends since I commute to NY, but then I jump into this baby and especially in the last couple of miles and with it getting colder I've noticed its got some pep in its step. I love it. If you take a couple of days off and bring it out you'll probably notice the same.

That is where Modding begins.. I got bored very quickly with the stock power of the V8 and after several trips to ADM Performance.. I am happy now.. Check out my signature for mods !!

the LS series engines LOVE the cold weather.not only do they seem to have more "giddyup";they sound like an entirely different beast ! CAI and aftermrket exhaust only adds to the experience...ENJOY !!!

At first I was impressed with the power then a couple months went by and it got boring so i added a cold air, exhaust and tune. It had me content for another couple months then I got bored again so I added a cam and springs. It hasn't even been a full month and I already want more. The mod bug has surely bit me.

It will always feel way underpowered to me when I get home from work, as its about 17000 HP less and tops out 400 mph slower than my daily driver.

It took me two years but now I've gone and done it. 426 HP and too quiet of an exhaust just stopped being enough. Mine is on Vengeance Racing's schedule for Feb. to do the cam/cai/headers and tune thing. I'll have to be happy with that much power for a long time because it also cost me new living room furniture if you know what I mean
