I used it extensively on a recent road trip and didn't have problems at all. I was pretty happy with it.

I HAVE USED MY RANT PHONE WITH BLUETOOTH AND WORKS GOOD.A COUPLE OF TIMES I,VE HAD TO TURN BLUETOOTH ON PHONE FIRST THEN TURN ON STEREO TO CONNECT.WHEN YOU FIRST SIGN UP WITH ONSTAR THEYLL ALSO OFFER YOU AN EXTRA 100 MINUTES OF THE CAR PHONE FOR 14.99 ADDED TO THE 30 FREE PHONE MINUTES I GOT,NOT A BAD DEAL FOR BACKUP.WHEN YOU CALL FOR TRAFFIC OR WEATHER UPDATES,YOU WILL NEED THESE MINUTES IF YOU USE THE CAR PHONE.

Mine works perfectly. It works so well that I forget about it. Recently I was on a call while walking to my car. As I fired her up, the call transfered from my phone to the Cammy without even a glitch and my client never even noticed the difference. COOL!!!!

I have the 3GS and have paired it with several aftermarket bluetooth kits in the past (some integrated, some not). I have to say the Camaro is hands down the easiest and most reliable I've used.

A few weeks ago the girlfriend called while I was out joyriding with the windows down, sunroof open. We chatted for about 3 minutes (I was doing about 40-50MPH). Later that night she was surprised to hear I had taken the car for a spin. I looked at her puzzled and asked "couldn't you tell I was in the car on bluetooth earlier?" She said she couldn't tell at all!

Not an iPhone, but it rocks with my crappy Blackberry 8330. Never a cutout, always crystal clear.
