Is it normal to see smoke at start of engine? This was not a cold start, but rather an hour or so after running car... btw I'm in Florida..its been 95 all day and I saw smoke coming from both pipes... normal???

did you happen to clean it with anything you might have gotten some chemicals on it and the heat finally started to make it smoke off

Blue smoke oil, white smoke coolant. Give us some more details, did you hear any weird noises, lights come on, how were the engine temps, how were you driving it before you shut it off prior to the smoke?

I've heard maybe low octane gas causes white smoke?

I'm surprised, I looked through the thread, and no one asked "How old is the car"

If it is new, it could be residual grease and residue burning off.

If you had an oil change, maybe some dripped. Maybe you hit something in the road that had oil on it and splashed up into the engine bay?

I had something look like I had a problem with the camry but I had no problems with the car (still have it), and the only thing I could think of was I hit something in the road.
