Maybe he just got done watching the USA-Canada hockey game. I don't know?
In today's "global market" (code for letting Corps leave the USA job market) it wouldnt be American if it were made inside the US.

He needed to watch the Tom Brokaw special during the Olympic about Gander, Newfoundland and the generosity that was displayed by a small town that was called upon to take 7000 passengers that were made land there shortly after 9/11 and stayed for 4 days. The people were more than gracious, opened their schools, churches, kitchens, homes and their hearts to the dsiplaced passenger, They are A OK in my book.

The extremists on the right LOVE to insinuate that the President of the US is now the President of GM. It just shows how silly they can be.
The problem is not that the government "bailed out" GM, it's that they violated the 5th Amendment and broke the bankruptcy laws by voiding the Bondholder's secured interests and gave ownership in GM to the UAW, who wasn't even an unsecured creditor! That's not silly to notice that obvious criminal act.

I'm really happy its built is Oshawa, The Van Nuys plant turned out S*** IMO, two of the three Firebirds I had spent to have plenty of time in the dealers garage getting thing fixed, including a complete new wiring harness after smoke came out of the dash and the engine died in my 1988, no wonder they only had a 12 month,12000 mile warrenty back then....

Super 60 and rest of the crew in Canada build a first class Camaro and I'm proud to own one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:flag2:

You should try working at the dealership. I constantly get asked how "Government Motors" is doing. I even had one guy ask if my paychecks were government issued now. I don't even work for GM!

Norwood stopped in '87. Van Nuys was the only plant from 88-92.

I'm very happy with my "North American" built Camaro.
These new GM cars are showing the world we CAN make a quality product!!!
I also congratulate our Canadian brothers for showing the world a great time in Vancouver. The icing on the cake was a hard-fought gold medal win over US in the hockey tournament. It was a proud moment for us Detroiters because our Stevie Y and Coach Babcock helped the Canadian effort. Now I just hope the Wings can make the playoffs!

The only place I've ever even seen gravy offered for fries is at some truck stops in PA. It blew my mind as I'd never even heard of people putting gravy on fries, but it sure was tasty! It does make a lot of sense though... they are potatoes after all.
