You know what'd be cool? To turn off all the interior lights and have it blacked out. One can't do that in the 4th Gen as the mileage light stays on as well as the ASR. What would be cool is to turn off all the interior dash lights (if one would wish) and only turn on the HUD. Nada but HUD on the windshield right in front of the drivers view....that'd be cool.,...

I would LOVE to see the new camaro come with HUD. In my 4th gen and all the other vehicles I've driven, the steering wheel is so low (the most comfortable position for me) that i can't see the tops of the speedo or tach.

I know we haven't really gotten any new information, other than the prototype pics, but I'm wondering what people are thinking now as far as a HUD is concerned? It's been brought up recently in the Nav thread, but do we really think a HUD will be an option on the Camaro?

I'm almost positive it won't be a standard feature, so I'm just asking if you think it will even be an option?

I don't really think they will. There's no particular reason why I think that, just everything we've heard recently doesn't lead me to believe that a HUD is high on their list of options to include. As I said before, if they did offer one, it'd be one of the first boxes I'd check.

The hints we got about the sunroof turned out to be true, so I'm taking the hints from the same people that there will be a hud as the same.

I like the idea of a HUD, I want a Grand Prix partially because of the HUD that it has.

On the GMC Acadia, it shows that it's only a $350 option (though it's not offered on the base trimline). At that price, I'd jump all over that if it were offered on the Camaro.
