If this is a dumb question I apologize

I asked my husband and he said idk I was wondering the same thing. For those of you with tinted windows what do you do about the windows cracking on their own(getting in/out of car) for those few days you are suppose to keep your windows up? I just got my Camaro Saturday and first mod will be tinted windows. Do I bypass that some how so the tinting guys aren't stumped?

There are tons of cars that have the auto-down windows for entry/exit. This won't be a problem for an experienced tech.

Ok thanks I have a 2006 F150, and this 2011 camaro is a world of difference. I told my husband it would take me longer to figure out how to do everything on that car than it took me with my iphone4. I'm only 27 hopefully it won't take me too long.

the tech should know how to work with your windows. mine look great. I have had no problems at all. It's been a year since I had them done.

The tint person will likely use extra time with the heat gun when applied and they will ask that the car sits a few hours after they are done, after that don't open the door unnecessarily the first couple of days and you should be fine. If possible have the tint done one a hot sunny day for extra insurance.

Mine peeled in the corner a little and the tint shop had to redo it, no cost to me but it's a hassle, better get it done once.

A good window tint person will know how to do it. It was not a problem for mine at all.

No worry, I had mine tinted 2 weeks ago. The small movement while opening the doors was no problem here.

I've had mine done for about a year with no issues. My tint guy tucked the wet tint far down under the weather stripping and then hit it with a heat gun for a few minutes as he was doing his work. I had both sides and the back done and he'd use the heat gun each time he walked around the door. Hit it a number of times during the job.

Could always lower the window ever so slightly, then pull the fuse so it doesn't go up and down, go get them tinted, then wait two or three days and re-install the fuse...
