Comments like this drve me crazy... say you don't like them, that's fine... but telling someone to go buy something is just ridiculous, if you want them to buy it, you go buy it for them! Pathetic! This is where the line "unless you're making my car payment... " comes into reality.

a lot of the 5th gen's design reflects off of the older camaro's...

yeah, i kinda wish they were functional. but the best i can do is try to make them look that way. if i were to get these, i would probably also get the vinyl ones to go in between the chrome.

They were only on 69 Camaros, not 68. The standard 69 Camaro had the same indention fake vents ours has, so the chrome trim fits the style of this car as much as it did the 69 Camaro.

If you don't like retro styling crap why did you even buy a new Camaro?

My 69 Camaro had the crome gills over the vent inserts, had a vinyl roof too. No, I'm not going to add that for the retro look. I liked that part of the retro look and went for it.

I think the fades that people put on look fine but those stick on chrome things are tacky. Reminds me of something you'd pick up at walmart or autozone and slap on your car.

Long time Camaro fan? I'm guessing not because they came on the 69 only. I like them and had them on my 69. I'll probably order the RetroUSA ones some time in the next fwe months.
EDIT: Never mind, Skyman already pointed out this fact.

I have them and like them. One problem with the black part on these pieces is they flake off pretty easily... sometime down the road I'll plastic-dip them or apply some vinyl in place of it...

Besides that I like the look. If they didn't have the Fender indentions to begin with I wouldn't have got these. But it looked too plain with those indentions there.
