Penis measuring game? Jeez, it's a hobby. What the hell else am I supposed to throw money at?

track time isn't always better than rwhp. think. if ur rolling on the highway and have more rwhp, usually ull accelerate faster. there are too many things to regulate track times. weight/traction/reaction time. if you're on the highway, ull usually pull harder with more rwhp.

It's been mentioned a couple times on this thread that drag racing is hard on a car and you run the risk of breaking parts. Definitely off the line is the hardest on a car, but the rest of the run is no different than a Dyno.

And to think that you wont hurt your car on a dyno, think again. I know two cases where people had major breakdowns on a dyno - one grenaded his tranny and the other did in the motor. You run your car at high rpms, you risk damage no matter if you're on the track or on the rollers.

Now, getting out of shape at 100+mph and only two concrete walls to cushion you is another matter....but thats what separates the men from the boys!

Clearly, he was trying to be funny... it just didn't land at all. I could have laughed at the first joke... but once the reference to each of us manually pumping up our payners, just took it to another level of reeeedickulus.

Tell that to the people that purchase $1/2mil. supercars and drive on pot holes.
Guys like me that dump a few thousand dollars on a Camaro to build it right aren't the one you should be laughing at.

I'm not talking about a "a few thousand dollars"

I see those guys with their vehicles raised 1/2" off the ground scraping up the ashphalt with their $20k exhaust.

Don't care about chasing RWHP nor ETs...heck, look at my sig...

But I'm absolutely lovin' it that "SUX is the coolest" and "All about the looks" are tied with ~18% votes each...frickin' hilarious...

Full disclosure, I voted for SUX....
