My new project

This is my personal 99TA. Had a 427 C5R motor before and ran 10.2's NA but we want more. Here are some progress pics and what the car use to look like.

I like your motor mounts, reminds me of my V8 Vega days.
Enjoy the build, and keep us updated.

Looks good. Can't wait to see it out next season.

What kind of rear end you running? The custom housing looks beefy. Manifolds dumping forward for turbo?

Rear is a Midwest fab 9". Was in the car for a few years. Manifolds are truck manifolds with v-bands welded on. We've done a few of these setup's with real good results. A custumer car with a similar setup went 9.0's at 156mph with 15lbs of boost and 93 octain.

Car setup will be resleeved LS2 block - 427ci ,TFS 235 heads, T400 tranny and a 88mm turbo. I'm expecting 1200-1400rwhp through the T400 and still street drive the car.

They way it feels outside, I'd swear it was right around the corner!

I love the interior remark...yea, it's just a little empty in there...

Shop has been busy as hell so the car gets little love.

Got a fuel cell for stock location, Kirkey seats installed and the shifter cut in. Only a couple hundred more hours of work left...

I had Halls' custom do the cage. Have a ton of pics so far from the battery box/cut off setup to rewiring the whole car.

Just waiting on the shortblock to show up (thanks to Callies back ordering) and the turbo setup.

quick oics of the turbo.

Finally have some time to finish putting the 427ci motor for it and make some turbo piping. Will post those pics later.
