Yeah that's crazy, it's almost twice what the gap is on mine (the key fob is a tight fit for me). Do you have any before pictures to compare it to or can you comment on what that gap looked like beforehand?

Well yeah since the back was raised an inch the front came wayyyy down because I tilted the horn a few degrees. Before it was just under a key fob thickness.

Yea, when Mike did the testing on my car it seemed to allow more of an opening or gap to allow air flow to the VR and I'm not complaining at all. I had just a key fob and under WOT, it would close up. Mike said he saw where the VR could slide off the TB and he had a plan to take care of that and give the black VR housing more grip to stay in place. I got on it hard and heavy when I drove it back home and all held solid and true.

The install is very simple to do yourself if you wanted to save a few bucks!
edit: Wish I wasn't so impatient.. Had to get it on! Unfortunately I have everything at home (I'm at college right now..) to paint my IM so guess I'm going to hafta take it off to do it again -.- lol O well.. the 3 hour drive home will be more fun!

No issues with the Vararam at all. It fits so good with it that it makes you check and recheck the install.
