I called the dealer today and they said the car was sitting at the plant. This is what GMConnects shows. You think it is still in Canada?

03/23/2012 (1100) Order placed at dealership. Order passed GM edit tables but dealer has not received allocation to place order.
03/23/2012 (1102) Order entered via web.
03/27/2012 (2000) Order accepted by GM. Dealer used allocation to place order into production.
03/27/2012 (2500) Order preferenced. Order pulled to the production system.
03/27/2012 (3000) Order accepted by production control. Parts being ordered and production process is underway.
04/02/2012 (3100) Order available to sequence.
04/02/2012 (3300) Order scheduled for production. Order is scheduled into the plant build cycle.
04/05/2012 (3400) Order Broadcast (internal plant paperwork order produced). Order is sent to various build & supplier areas to bring order together.
04/17/2012 (3800) Order produced and vehicle is being prepared for shipping. For Cadillac, GMC and Buick customers, please contact your dealer or customer service for further updates as no further updates available at this time.

Looks like you ordered stripes? That first ship is to the plant next door to get stripes, then the next one is shipping it back. Your next ship should be load on rail car. At least that is what mine did.

Ours did that on gm connects for a few days then when we tracked it it had already been halfway across the country. If you can see a window sticker it has probably already been invoiced to your dealer as well. Have you contacted them?

Turned the 2011 in to the dealership today. Sad day. :( I put a picture of my Tahoe in its place.

Same kinda thing happened to me....I emailed the salesman at our dealership and asked about getting the train car so I could track it and he replied back that "you are correct you new camaro is in transit, no way to tell from my end what rail car will be coming in.....will keep you posted" So do you think he just doesn't know or just doesn't want to tell me? They have been super nice to us so far as we also purchased a new (DEMO) 2011 Avalanche LTZ (with all the bells and whistles) from them before ordering the Camaro.

Where else would I call to find out? Phone number??

He just doesn't known how to do it, he can follow the directions on the Train tracking forum post by calling the Dealer Business Center, I didn't have any with him doing that, they wouldn't tell my salesman for some reason. I was able to call Chevy Customer service and get mine.

They have access to the rail car number. The guy at the dealership who actually orders the cars sees this info on their order screen. I was at my dealership sitting in his office and he showed me his screen. The rail car number is embedded in the message they see saying it was shipped. My dealer thankfully has been very helpful and open to the process. So I'll do a shout out to Weber Chevrolet of St. Louis!

Just talked to my sales rep, and she is getting me my railcar number today from the manager.
