The date can't get here soon enough. I am itching to drive off the lot with my Yellow 2SS/RS Convertible. I have already spent over $4000 making a secure place to park it behind my house.

Haha. Tell me about it. I get excited every time I hear an e-mail arrive on my phone, then disappointed when it's not an update from GM Connects.
Plus the weather in NJ just got really nice this week, so I really want my new vert.

I am a week behind everyone in this thread but dealer told me yesterday TPW was 4/9 could that be right?

03/03/2012 (1100) Order placed at dealership. Order passed GM edit tables but dealer has not received allocation to place order.
03/03/2012 (1102) Order entered via web.
03/06/2012 (2000) Order accepted by GM. Dealer used allocation to place order into production.
03/06/2012 (2500) Order preferenced. Order pulled to the production system.
03/06/2012 (3000) Order accepted by production control. Parts being ordered and production process is underway.

I don't know for sure, but I would think they'd plan to build several similar cars at the same time for efficiency. It's probably not as simple as first come, first served for build dates. Seems like everyone with this date so far is getting a convertible. So maybe they scheduled that week to just focus on building verts.
If you post your workbench order # to the tracking thread, I'm sure Becky can verify the TPW for you tomorrow.

The only thing that comes close for me in life to this wait was back when I was 10yrs old and I was wondering if Santa would be bringing me a Nintendo Entertainment System for Christmas. He did, and it was very memorable, from the wait to the payoff. I am expecting the day I drive off the lot to be comparable next month, though I didn't have to build a carport for the NES.
