Im darn proud to be what most people would call a "Nerd"..
...........Only this Nerd happens to be a 6 foot 4, 275 lbs offensive linemen.... ....LOLYou should see the looks i get when ppl who know i play Football find out im getting a degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry...its hilarious Anyways, back on topic, from what i thought, all the LS series blocks share the same basic design, but they use different castings, like the ls7 and ls9 have more internal bracing and strengthening then the others, and since you just cant add metal to brace up a cast block, the casting must be different from the get go. Bust as for the basic dimensions and specs, tolerances and such i think they are all quite similar, which is why there is such a great compatibility in parts between the engines. |

by Ontarioian (?) StudentsI'm in 4th year engineering (mechanical, mechatronics option) out in Oshawa at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (why did the chose such a long name ). Anyway, thats only 45 min away from York U. Best thing about the school is that the engineering program is sponsored in part by GM. Next best thing is that in a few months I will actually be out working.
