I don't think it matters, i think your car is gonna end up in QC regardless. BC GM is gonna ensure it's good to go.

What makes you think the problem is not universal to all manuals? It seems like an engineering issue, and as far as I know all SS manuals are the same.

my car supposedly arrived at the dealership today and they were told theirs a recall and not to release my car yet (it been paid for already) the salesman mentioned somthing about the "shift release" to my wife...no idea wtf that is though and being a salesman theirs a good chance he just made somthing up since he was talking to my wife and not me

FWIW
I was FINALLY about to come off of 1100. My dealer sent me the "e-mail I had been waiting for" telling me my order was going into the system. Just as I had confirmed my order... I got a call from my dealer telling me my order couldn't be submitted. They aren't taking any M6 orders for an undetermined period of time due to undisclosed issues. He said he'd know more this Thursday. 265 days and still waiting. Just hope this issue is resolved soon for all of us.
