There is so much speculation and misinformation in this and the other threads, everyone should calm down and just wait for some official word instead of relying on rumors and hearsay. Many are still confusing this recall with the one on the cobalts, it isn't the same problem people..

He's not right...he's real wrong. I work in a Chevy service dept and the district rep was in today. No part numbers or order shipments available yet.

I can see it taking a few months for ones in owners hands already but for the ones already sold and waiting to be delivered and the ones sitting on dealers lots I bet those will be the priority...

key issue is totally dumb .... A few years back we all had and still have the 1-2 grind issue but GM still refuses to do anything. But the key is a different story..oh can not give you the car.....If I had just bought a car and could not get it for this reason I would be pissed

I was told the same thing . It could be there on Monday for a new car on the lot . The timing of this will work out great , fly out of Washington State on Thursday night , arrive in Ohio Friday morning , sign the paperwork by noon , hit the road in a new ZL1 and stop by the Sturgis Camaro Rally Saturday on the way home .

I'm sorry. You are correct. I didn't see the switchblade button and thought this ws the replacement.
