I got the new vararam vr-drx intake, i must admit its probably the most ugly intake ive ever bought or used. But you can really feel a difference.

I just got a 2014 l99 and the previous owner had installed a k&n intake, I've been debating on just how much I want to/if I want to switch it out. Had a cold air inductions intake on my v6 and liked it. Maybe one day after other more important things

Thanks to the feedback here, the independent dyno test posted earlier in the thread and other dyno results posted by members, I went with CAI (Cold Air Inductions).

I definitely feel a difference in throttle response and will dyno it (and post up results) as soon as I wrap up some suspension mods I'm in the middle of. What I noticed while installing it is the fitment. It hugs the body more than other systems I've put in other cars so the filter is much more enclosed.

Let us know what you pick!

Thank you for choosing the Cold Air Inductions, Inc. Cold air induction system. We are very happy to hear that the fitment was superior and that you can FEEL the power. Thanks again.

I have a CAI intake and have been happy with it. Sound, performance, and aesthetically.

The Vararam cai is what I consider the best. It draws in air from the front of the car. And it gives the air the quickest straightest possible path right to the throttle body. My CAIs with it are typically 1-2 degrees over ambient even on hot days. And if you can imagine, you're at WOT, and your car is moving, and you've got air being drawn straight in from the grille. There is no better way to get air to the engine.

I have the Z28 intake on my '15 SS. Your testing along with others have shown big gains in hp and torque and i like the OEM look much better than any aftermarket. Love my Z intake, i wouldn't use anything else.

That cai gets no credit on here because it wasnt in that old test. Plus its not sold on here. Yet the dyno test puts it at or close to the top of the list.
