That is great information, but.... I am pissed that it says "available in early 2009. I have heard mid to late 2008? Has any one else seen or read this? That means we have to wait 18 LOOOOOOOONG months before we can get the new Camaro. That is just not right.

+1 and remember bcannan, early 2009 is only a comfort zone for them - meaning it can be guaranteed by then - but late 2008 is a very likely release date. |

That gives them more than enough time to figure out what engines they are going to offer. I'm for waiting so they won't make big mistakes. I think offering two V6 options is a bust.

I know the extra time will allow "US' to save more money and give them time to work out the "bugs". But DAMN that car is HOT, and I want one yesterday. Any way I guess I can wait.
